Well, I got the rejection e-mail, too. Kind of expected information technology (not this shortly tho), but I did do a file review via electronic mail and got insight on what I could do better. I originially planned on doing a gap yr, but I will be applying but to one school this adjacent coming bicycle (not LMU). Only thing I will mainly try to meliorate is my GRE and see if I tin can go it to a 320 at least.
Its been fun chatting with yous all on this forum and I practise wish those that got accepted to be the best Vets that y'all can exist! And for those in the Masters programme, keep plugging away, you lot'll make it!!! And for those like me who are even so trying, if yous desire to bounce ideas off of me or desire someone to stay in contact with during the process, I'1000 only a message away!
Farewell everyone! Don't give upwardly!!!

Does anyone know if we are still on the waitlist, whether or not nosotros are required to send in our transcripts from Spring 2018 past the June 30th date?

I'd send them anyways. Then y'all don't accept to worry about information technology if you go accepted. Particularly if you had good grades.

I am simply now checking this forum after a long while of not seeing it... honestly I tin can't believe that they started giving people on the waitlist rejections... I've never heard of that happening. I did not fifty-fifty know that people were sent that until now... I have not received any emails from them since the 1 they sent out on June i saying it was still open. I'm not certain either about sending spring grades unless you're a student that has already been accepted....? I've been questioning that also myself.

Apparently this is something they take done in by years as well.
i dont understand the betoken of putting all those people on the waitlist then. why non only have a smaller number on there to start with and not have to tell people theyre no longer waitlisted and theyre just full on rejected. yeah they need to make sure they sill their class, but your waitlist shouldnt be and so big that you stop upwardly having to reject people in one case youre close to filling. just leave them on at that place fifty-fifty if you arent going to accept them.

I was on the waitlist concluding year for LMU and personally I think a rejection some time in June would have been style better than just waiting and waiting and waiting for nothing to happen. I had a lot of feet from it and honestly information technology would have been better to know right away rather than in mid August so then I could have planned my summer or started to re do my application so it was meliorate. Merely an insight from someone who went through it terminal twelvemonth- I think being rejected over beingness strung along (especially if they know the class is not going to move) is much better just so you lot can plan things and not exist a sitting duck.

I was on the waitlist last twelvemonth for LMU and personally I retrieve a rejection some fourth dimension in June would take been mode improve than just waiting and waiting and waiting for nothing to happen. I had a lot of feet from it and honestly it would take been meliorate to know right abroad rather than in mid August so so I could take planned my summer or started to re do my awarding then it was better. Just an insight from someone who went through it concluding year- I retrieve existence rejected over being strung forth (especially if they know the class is not going to move) is much better just and then you can programme things and not be a sitting duck.
I also was on the waitlist concluding year. Maybe you lot missed it, but were told when the course was full in July and that at that place probably wouldn't be more acceptances subsequently that. Take that as your rejection to commencement your application. Yeah at that place still could have been a run a risk of getting accepted, merely it was a very slim chance at that point.
If yous're on a waitlist, you should already exist planning on redoing your application when it opens. Y'all can await until June or July to actually start it, merely waiting until Baronial when they tell you that class has started and the waitlist is airtight is just dumb. You don't know that you will be pulled off. Why wait and outset it afterward there's no risk of getting pulled? If you get near of the way done and get the call, fantastic! You can scrap the app at present, Just You HAVENT PUT ANY Money INTO THIS Bike AND WASTED IT. If yous don't get called, you've already started your app and could be shut to finishing it when that grade starts and you get told they're no longer accepting students.
Distressing, but being a sitting duck while y'all're on a waitlist is but dumb. Meliorate your application and merely hope that y'all become accepted. I'd rather accept spent time on the app and not get pulled (which is what happened) than not spend any time on information technology, assume I'one thousand getting pulled, and then take to rush through my app in August because I did nothing well-nigh information technology over the summertime.

Just going to remind you all once again that electric current faculty, staff and students can read these mail and we can probably figure out who you are when you lot come to interviews. Be greatful you made a waitlist and motion on. So they rejected you from the waitlist? Well the stress of waiting is over and you have closure. Compaining about how its unfair that there are so many people on a waitlist is really lilliputian of all of y'all. Every year the waitlist volition move a dissimilar corporeality depending on how many people chose to go somewhere else. They would rather have more people on a waitlist than not enough and have to tell people that were outright rejected that they are accepted to LMU. Also information technology is dainty to know that you are rejected in June over August. We had a girl in my class get pulled off the waitlist in August and it came downward to LMU or Ross. She had like less than 5 hrs to determine what she wanted to do. Luckly for her she wasn't at Ross yet (she was suppose to leave that next week) then she went to LMU and turned down Ross. What if someone was getting ready to take a course mid August and they had to put $1,000 down, non-refundable for said grade on July 31 and and so they get a phone call on August 1st that they were accepted to LMU and they demand a $1,200 eolith that week? (Somewhere on this thread someone complained about how it wasn't fair that they expected you lot to come up with that much money in 2 weeks).Yous are able to commit more than hands to other things such as trips, opportunities, jobs, education, ect. becuase you don't accept this "uncertain" future. Every bit a side annotation, do any of yous really know how many people are on the waitlist? Information technology seems like only a scattering of people really use this website and I know other people that were accepted and chose to go other places exterior of this website or whatever other website/page on facebook.

As July approaches and I've already done my file review: I have started reapplying (thankfully a ton of info transfers over) and I'grand updating the contempo stuff that I've washed in the past year. I am likewise remaining HOPEFUL that if it's meant to be this fourth dimension effectually then it'll be. Goodluck to everyone, we will be vets anytime!!

Does anyone have any idea how many of us are left on the waitlist after that round of rejections earlier this summertime? I'm almost done with my app for this years wheel, just I still take my fingers crossed to be called off fifty-fifty though information technology's a long shot now that school is virtually to start, haha
